Delete your account

Last updated 16 September 2026. Two ways to do it, what gets deleted, and the 30 days you have to change your mind.

From inside the app

Open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm with your password. This is the quickest route and needs nothing from us.

By email, without the app

Email support@quickmem.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm before anything is deleted, so check the reply. If you write from a different address we cannot match it to an account, and we will ask you to write from the right one.

What happens next

Your account is closed straight away: you are signed out and cannot sign back in. Your flashcards, decks, images, study progress and settings are deleted 30 days later, along with the account itself.

Within those 30 days you can email support@quickmem.com and we can bring the account back exactly as it was. After the 30 days there is nothing to bring back.

What is deleted

Everything the account owns: your decks and the cards in them, the images you attached, your study progress and review schedule, your app settings, your friend requests, your AI usage record, and the text of your AI requests. The account's sign-in record goes with it.

What is not

A subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. QuickMem Plus is billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and only they can cancel it — do that in your Play or App Store account settings, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.

If you have emailed support, we keep that correspondence, because it is our record of what was asked and answered. Tell us in your message if you want it removed too.

Deleting the app from your phone deletes nothing: your content lives on our servers so it survives a reinstall.

Accounts nobody uses

We also delete accounts that have gone unused. A registered account untouched for 120 days is deleted after we have emailed you at least 30 days beforehand; signing in at any point keeps it. An account used without signing up has no address to write to, so it is deleted after 120 days without use. An account with an active subscription is never deleted for inactivity.
